Abstract
IN THE AREA WEST OF THE DUNAJEC AND THE VISTULA RIVERSThe area under discussion is situated between the Dunajec river in the east, and the Cracow meridian in the west, and represents a part of the Carpathian Foreland. In the Sub-Miocene structure, this area constitutes a prolongation of the Miechów trough. On the basis of geological materials obtained from drillings, the authors briefly discuss the lithostratigraphical profile of the area in question, consisting of the Precambrian, Cambrian and Silurian sediments, as well as those belonging to the Ordovician, Carboniferous, Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous and Tertiary.Downloads
