Chemizm odpływowych wód górnośląskich
Abstract
CHEMICAL PROPERTY OF THE UPPER SILESIAN EFFLUENT WATERSThe author determined chemical properties of effluent waters of the coal-mines in Upper Silesia by means of 123 analyses collected in the period from 1956 to 1960; all the analyses were checked. The co-existence of ions of slightly soluble salts was verified by means of the law of mass action and the solubility product; when computing, also the coefficient of activity arid the ion energy of all the ions bearing upon the solubility were taken into account. In order to illustrate the chemical property of the mine waters, the author prepared two Figures 1 and 2, showing regions of occurrence of various types of waters.Downloads
