Profil jury i kredy w Wierbce koło Pilicy
Abstract
JURASSIC AND CRETACEOUS PROFILE AT WIERBKA NEAR THE PILICA RIVERThe thickness of the Jurassic formations encountered in bore hole Wierbka amounts 414,60 m. The formations in question directly rest on the Upper Triassic deposits. The lithological development of the lower part of the profile discussed, resembles the Jurassic from the Zawiercie vicinities, that of the higher parts, however, the Jurassic from Ogrodzieniec, whereas the upper part is similar to the known profile from Słomniki. Macrofauna and microfauna investigations, ,as well as lithological development of the series allowed to subdivide the Jurassic profile under study in to Bathonian, Callovian, Divezian, Neuvizyan, Argovian, and Rauracian. In this profile three members differing from each other in lithological and facial development may be distinguished as follows.Downloads
