Oligocen między Rawiczem a Gostyniem
Abstract
THE OLIGOCENE BETWEEN RAWICZ AND GOSTYŃThe paper deals with the new occurrence sites .of the marine Oligocene between Rawicz and Gostyń in the Fore-Sudetic monocline. The Mesozoic formations dipping in a northeastern direction are covered by marine Oligocene sediments developed here in the arenaceous facies. Intercalations of silts and silty sands ·occur here only subordinately. The Oligocene deposits are completely lacking fauna and bear an uncalcareous character. On the basis of the sites under considerations it is possible to assume that the marine Oligocene deposits are in this area of Poland of wider extension towards the south.Downloads
