Wstępne wiadomości o psylofitowej florze warstw z Wilczy w Sudetach Środkowych
Abstract
PRELIMINARY DATA ON PSILOPHYTE FLORA OF THE WILCZA BEDS IN MIDDLE SUDETESTo the most difficult stratigraphical problems of the Bardo structure (Middle Sudetes) distinguished in 1953 by J. Oberc, belongs age determination of the uppermost horizons of the young Caledonian complex, previously known under the name "Zdanowskie beds" (herzogswalder Schichten - in the German literature). This complex represents a·series of various schists in which several beds have been determined by J. Oberc. The age of these formations was variously estimated, f.e. Ordovician - Gotlandian, Upper Devonian - Lower Carboniferous. Only J. Oberc (1957a, 1957b) assumes this age to be Lower Devonian. The flora discovered in 1951 by J. Oberc in the so-called Wilcza beds (upper part of the young Caledonian profile) makes a new basis for determination of the age of this series.Downloads
