Uwagi o pochodzeniu zasolenia węgli brunatnych ze złoża turoszowskiego
Abstract
REMARKS ON ORIGIN OF SALINITY OF BROWN COALS IN THE TUROSZÓW DEPOSITSSummaryThe present author characterizes the geological structure of the Turoszów deposits and distinguishes three main rock complexes: Tertiary eruptive formations and rooks of crystalline basement, brown coal seams, and sedimentary (clayey) rocks accompanying the brown coals. In addition, he gives the results of chemical and petrographical examinations of the complexes, which have been a basis of the discussion on the salinity in brown coals from Turoszów. Moreover, the provenance of alkalies is explained by weathering processes of magmatic rocks, which are rich in calcium and magnesium, as well as by origin of the coal seams under brackish conditions.Downloads
