Osiągnięcia geochemii stosowanej w ZSRR
Abstract
ACHIEVEMENTS OF APPLIED GEOCHEMISTRY IN THE USSRSummaryAmong numerous geochemical problems intensely elaborated at present in the USSR, several are selected by the authors and discussed in this paper. First of all, these are taken into account, which are of great importance in search for, and in reconnaissance of mineral deposits. Discussing this problem, the present authors stress the role of endogene and exogene anomalies, and principles of their investigation depending upon the background and kind of index chemical elements. Biogeochemical method seems to be here of great importance, as well. Certain examples of geochemical researches applied in geological survey, particularly, however, the researches of dispersion streams are characterized more in detail. Attention has also been paid to the investigations of relation between certain isotopes of chemical elements to determine the connection of magma with sialic or with still deeper parts of earth crust, and even with the upper earth mantle. In addition, the use of methods of absolute age determination in ore geology has been discussed, too.Downloads
