Możliwości oznaczania trytu w próbkach wody w zastosowaniu do badań hydrogeologicznych
Abstract
THE POSSIBILITY OF TRITIUM DETECTION IN APPLICATION TO HYDROGEOLOGYThe technique of the tritium application in hydrogeology is shortly described. The physical characteristics of tritium, its origin and distribution in nature is given. Because of low tritium activity and its very low beta particles energy the sample of tritiated water must be enriched by destillation or electrolysis. The tritium activity can be measured using the gas counter or liquid scintillation technique. The sensitivity for both methods is given and health hazard for tritium as tracer in hydrogeology is discussed.Downloads
