Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF THE UPPER VISEAN FACIES IN POLANDRelatively quick progress of investigations on the Visean in Poland - particularly in Sudetes, Holy Cross Mountains, Polish Lowland, Carpathian Forefield and in the Miechów trough - makes possible to present the extensions of facies not only for the Visean as a whole (K. Bojkowski 1960), but also concerning its substages, as well. Particularly rich materials have been obtained as regards the Upper Visean there.
