Abstract
FACIES OF LATE QUATERNARY ALLUVIA IN THE MIDDLE BUG RIVER BASINThe present author takes a try at :comparing the macro-structural features of various alluvial facies with their granular and mineral properties. Three alluvial series differing in their age are found within the area under study (Fig. 1): Holocene series (H), younger Pleistocene series (P1) and older Pleistocene series (P2). The following facies have been distinguished in the series mentioned above: flood facies, channel facies and dead channel facies.Downloads
