Abstract
THE LATE PLEISTOCENE FLORA FROM USTROŃ ON THE UPPER VISTULAAt Ustroń on the Upper Vistula (Western Carpathians), the clay and gravel strata build up a high terrace reaching here up to 18 m above the present level of the river bed (Fig. 1). Samples for palaeobotanical studies have been collected from a bed to-f clays with flora (thickness 2,4 m) occurring between two gravel horizons. The samples were analyzed by palynological methods (Fig. 2); simultaneously, the collected macroscopic remains were studied, as well (Tab. 1 and Tab. 2).Downloads
