Charakterystyka łupków uranonośnych serii menilitowej w Karpatach środkowych
Abstract
CHARACTER OF URANIFEROUS SHALES OF MENILITE SERIES IN THE MIDDLE CARPATHIANSThe researches on gamma radioactivity of menilite series from the Middle Carpathians have shown that some varieties of oil shales reveal, in relation to the adjacent rocks, an increasing content of uranium. Their occurrence is restricted to three zones: northern, middle (Sanok) and southern (Fig. 1).In the present paper there are discussed character of the shales, their lithologica development, results of determining the uranium contents (Tab. ,1) and of the radiometrical measurements. For some occurrence localities there are given lithological profiles of the lower part of the menilite series, too (Fig. 2).Downloads
