Rozwój sedymentacji utworów cechsztynu w regionie Lubin Legnicki Sieroszowice
Abstract
DEVELOPMENT OF SEDIMENTATION OF THE ZECHSTEIN DEPOSITS IN THE REGION LUBIN LEGNICKI –SIEROSZOWICEThe author analyses the Zechstein lithology and the spacious relations of individual lithologic-stratigraphical horizons in the region Lubin Legnicki-Sieroszowice. On this basis have been determined the palaeogeography and the sedimentary conditions of these deposits. The deposits of the Werra (Z1) cyclothem were formed under the conditions of deep shelf. The greatest thickness of carbonates was in the shallow regions, that of sulphates in the·deeper parts of slopes, and that of chlorites in the central portions of the remaining depressions (Fig. 1). The carbonates, the Lower Werra anhydrite and the oldest rock salt have filled up the primary cavings forming here, like as in the other parts of the Fore-Sudetic monocline, the meridionally stretching bays. The Upper Werra anhydrite was already laid down, as a product of new -cycle of chemical sedimentation, in a basin of flat and even bottom.Downloads
