Promieniotwórczość naturalna i wiek bezwzględny (K-Ar) skał krystalicznych z otworu Rzeszotary IG 2
Abstract
RADIOACTIVITY AND ABSOLUTE AGE (K-Ar) OF CRYSTALLINE ROCKS: IN BORE BOLE RZESZOTARY IG 2The bore-hole Rzeszotary IG 2 is located south-east of Cracow, and west of Wieliczka. Under the cover of Cainozoic and Mesozoic sedimentary deposits a series of crystalline rocks has been encountered. The series consists of mica schists, gneisses and amphibolites. As a result of well logging eleven small gamma radiation anomalies have been detected in the crystalline rocks here considered. These are of two types. The first type anomalies are flat and show some asymmetry connected with an irregular distribution of radioactive elements. For the most pact they are associated with a series of meta-sediment.Downloads
