Abstract

NEW STRATIGRAPHICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE ZECHSTEIN IN THE GAŁĘZICE-KOWALA SYNCLINE, ŚWIĘTY KRZYŻ MTS.

The author presents a completed profile of the Zechstein from the Gałęzice-Kowala syncline and a correlation of this profile with those from the bore holes made in the area of the south-western margin of the Święty Krzyż Mts., and in other regions developed in marginal fades. According to the present-day opinions, a new subdivision into four cyclothems is proposed.
