Algi cechsztyńskie z okolic Nowej Soli
Abstract
ZECHSTEIN ALGAE IN THE VICINITY OF NOWA SÓLSummaryAlgae of the species Algites stenbergianus and Calcinema permiana (K i n g) have been found to occur in the Zechstein formations in the vicinity of Nowa Sól (South-west Poland). It has been ascertained that the species Algites stenbergianus (K i n g) is characteristic of the facial conditions that existed at the beginning of carbonate sedimentation during the cyclothems, Z2 and Z3, whereas the form Calcinema permiana (K i n g) may be thought to represent an index fossil of the platy dolomite horizon (cyclothem Z3).Downloads
