Abstract

SOME REMARKS ON THE SANDSTONES FROM THE PODHALE FLYSCHThe Podhale flysch fills up a depression between the Pieniny Klippen Belt and the Tatra Mts. The present paper, dealing with the sandstones occurring in the western part, presents the frequency of the stratification types and gives differences in the lithological development of the Zakopane, Chochołów and Ostrysz sandstone series.
