Abstract
DISCUSSIBLE PROBLEMS OF THE JURASSIC-CRETACEOUS BOUNDARY IN THE POLISH LOWLAND AREAThe uppermost Jurassic and the lowermost Cretaceous are represented within the Polish lowland area by the brackish Purbeckian deposits, as well as by ,the Infravalanginian marine-brackish and marine deposits. The marine Infravalanginian deposits containing bath boreal and Mediterranean ammonite fauna may be correlated with the Riazan horizon, the Infravalanginian of England and the Berriasian of the Mediterranean-Alpine province.Downloads
