Abstract

THE LIASSIC CLAY DEPOSITS IN THE ŚWIĘTY KRZYŻ MTS.

The article deals with the geological conditions of the Liassic clay deposits occurring in the northern margin of the Święty Krzyż Mountains. Their lithological description is presented, as well as their general chemical and mineralogical characteristics are given. Particular attention is paid to the occurrence of the refractory clays and to their connection with the non-refractory rocks.
