Abstract

STRATIGRAPHY OF THE TRANSITION BEDS BETWEEN THE JURASSIC AND THE CRETACEOUS, BASED ON MICROFAUNAA microfauna was examined of the transition beds from Jurassic to Cretaceous pierced in 16 bore-holes situated in the vicinities of Gronowo, Szamotuły, Kcyna, Włocławek – Pagórki and Kutno. Six local ostracodes horizons (F-A) have been distinguished. Each horizon is characterized by a slightly different assemblage of microfauna.
