Abstract

ORIGIN OF AMPPHIBOLITE ASSEMBLAGES FROM ŁUKÓWPre-Cambrian rocks have been pierced at Łuków at a depth of 910 m. Drill core consists of hornblende-biotite schists, hornblende amphiobolites, hornblende-enstatite amphibolites, hornblende-augite amphibolites, plagioclase-quartz-hornblende-pyroxene gneisses, plagioclase-quartz-biotite gneisses, augen-gneiss as mylonitized migmatites and metamorphic granitoid (mobilisate).
