Abstract

PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF ABSOLUTE AGE DETERMINATION (K-A) OF THE LOWER SILESIAN GRANITOIDIC ROCKS

By means of potassium-argon method the present author has made 19 determinations of absolute age of biotite sample taken from various granitoidic rock massifs of the Sudetes and of the Fore-Sudetic block. From literature are selected 11 determinations of absolute age of biotites deriving from the granitoidic rock massifs of the Sudetes, Fore-Sudetic block and Lusatia, made by means of K-A method, as well as 4 absolute age determinations of biotites from the Sudetic granitoidic rocks, made using Rb-Sr method.
