Zagadnienie występowania skaleni autigenicznych w wapieniach cieszyńskich
Abstract
THE PROBLEM OF OCOURRENCE OF AUTHIGENE FELDSPARS IN THE CIESZYN LIMESTONESThe Cieszyn limestones (Upper Tithonian - Berriasian) cropping out in the area of the West Carpathians are built up mainly by detrital limestones. Beside fractionally bedded limestones there are found also arenaceous limestones parallely,·diagonally and wavily laminated.Microscope examinations have demonstrated that authigene feldspars may be observed in all kinds of detrital limestones,·regardless of the horizon, occurrence region and tectonical unit. Their average contents in the individual varieties of limestones is insignificant and ranges from 0,3 to 0,9%. Grain size amounts, as a rule, to 0,05-0,13 mm, occasionally only more than 0,2 mm.Downloads
