Skały kwarcowo-kwarcytowe w okolicy Ołdrzychowic na Dolnym Śląsku
Abstract
QUARTZ-QUARTZITE ROCKS IN THE VICINITY OF OŁDRZYCHOWICE, LOWER SILESIASummaryWithin the boundary zone between the Lądek-Śnieżnik metamorphicum and the Kłodzko–Złoty Stok intrusion in the vicinity of villages Żelazno and Ołdrzychowice are found quartz-quartzite rocks. The formation of these rocks is related, on the one hand, to the character of the initial supracrustal series with arenaceous deposit intercalations, which due to metamorphic alterations changed into quartzites; on the other hand – to the silification processes in the contact area of the Kłodzko–Złoty Stok intrusion. These processes led to the enrichment of the quartzite rocks in vein quartz. On account of their chemical composition, and due to their considerable occurrence areas, the quartz-quartzite rooks should be of interest for industry.Downloads
