Abstract
CASSITERITE PLACERS IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE IZERA BLOCKSummaryThe authors present the results of searching for the alluvial cassiterite placers by heavy concentrate survey in the north-western part of the Izera block. Totally 287 km of stream channels have been examined and 969 heavy concentrate samples have been gathered. During the research works cassiterite placers have been discovered along 6 streams within the area between Grabiszyce, Kościelniki, Augustów and Wolimierz. Tin content in the alluvial deposits amounts up to 820 g/m3 of gravels.Downloads
