Osady interglacjału eemskiego Zakruczu koło Małogoszcza
Abstract
THE EEMIAN INTERGLACIAL DEPOSITS AT ZAKRUCZE, NEAR MAŁOGOSZCZ (WESTERN PART OF THE ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKIE MTS.)Preliminary reportSummaryAt Zakrucze, the interglacial silts with gyttja intercalations, peats and peat alluvium fill in an Eemian karst basin (Figs land 2). A palynological analysis of the samples taken from these deposits (Fig. 3) has demonstrated that they represent the post-optimum part of the Interglacial, comprising the Eg, Eh and Ei phases, according to A. Środoń (1967) nomenclature. As far as the central area of Poland is concerned the site of the Eemian Interglacial in study is the southernmost occurrence point of orogenic deposits of that time.Issue
