Morfologia złoża siarki – próba analizy matematycznej
Abstract
MORPHOLOGY OF SULPHUR DEPOSIT – A MATHEMATICAL ANALYSISSummaryTrend surface analysis was applied for studying top and bottom surface morphology of sulphur deposit with the aim to determine factors controlling the shape of these surfaces. Polynomials of the first, second and third degree were applied.A comparison of the second degree trends of both surfaces enable us to detect the presence of some continuous deformations produced by tectonic activity of compactness. The top surface is more complicated than the bottom one. It was probably submitted to karst or erosional processes. A decresse in thickness of the deposit in the direction opposite to the dip suggests the erosion before the deposition of the overlaying clays.Downloads
