Magmowe skały żyłowe w rejonie Chocianowa na boku przedsudeckim
Abstract
INGEOUS VEIN ROCKS OF THE CHOCIANÓW AREA IN THE FORE-SUDETIC BLOCKSummaryIgneous veins from the Chocianów IG-3 borehole are represented by two rock types: lamprophyres (kersnatite, minette) and granodiorite porphyries. Geochemical analysis and dating point to a district differentiation and consequently to the existence of several generations of veins and to the lamprophyres-porphyries succession. The K-Ar ages of these rocks fall between 346 and 298 m.y. thus being Post-Bretonian. Probably the formation of the porphyries should be connected with the Asturian phase, while the lamprophyres should be related to some older phases. The occurrence of veins and evidence of contact metamorphism in the Chocianów IG-3 borehole are indicative of a near igneous body.Downloads
