Ocena węgli brunatnych w rejonie na NW od Legnicy w świetle badań petrograficznych
Abstract
RECENT PETROGRAPHIC EXAMINATIONS RESULTED IN QUALITATIVE ESTIMATION OF BROWN COAL DEPOSITS OCCURRING ON THE NORTH-WEST OF LEGNICASummaryThe petrographic examinations have been recently carried out on brown coal samples taken from the bore-hole of Gostyń S-391 located on the north-west of the deposits concentrated in the region of Lubin-Ścinawa and Legnica (Fig. 1). The entire investigations cover the macroscopic descriptions of samples examined together with the microscopic descriptions of thin-sections and polish sections, and moreover, the measurements of the volumetric composition of coal macerals. The petrographic position of these coals classified as the transitional-type coals could be easily determined as the result of the research works carried out in this particular field. An effort to correlate the four coal-bearing series penetrated by Gostyń drill together with the coal-bearing series palynologically proved from the Ustronie bore-hole has been also made. The attention has been paid to the commercial and industrial value of the investigated coals as well as to supposedly appeared technological parameters.Downloads
