Parametry granulometryczne a geneza osadu w świetle analizy dyskryminacyjnej
Abstract
GRANULOMETRIC PARAMETERS BY COMPARISON TO SEDIMENT ORIGIN ON THE BACKGROUND OF DISCRIMINANT ANALYSISSummaryThe negative appraisal has been put to real chances in genetic classification of the sediments made upon the basis of granulometric parameters when applying the discriminant linear function. These indications, however, might be rather applied to the comparisons. To make clear the question concerning the degree to what the measurement in term of central tendencies seems to be a target, while constituting a considerable help in yielding data from granulometric analysis upon which the sediments were classified genetically, the discriminant function related to recent and fossil sediments has been widely applied (Fig. 1). Hence the marine, fluvial and eolic formations have been considered as recent sediments; therefore the rocks of the Bunter Sandstone and Upper Jurassic age from the Intra-Sudetic Trough have been considered as fossil sediments.Downloads
