Mineralizacja kruszcowa w kamieniołomie marmuru dolomitycznego w Rędzinach (Dolny Śląsk)

Abstract


 Opisano mineralizację tkwiącą w łupkach biotytowo-skaleniowych stwierdzonych w północno-zachodniej części kamieniołomu marmuru dolomitycznego w Rędzinach. Na podstawie obserwacji mikroskopowych i makroskopowych oznaczono 17 minerałów kruszcowych, przy czym niektóre z nich występują w kilku generacjach. Stwierdzono, że obecne tu okruszcowanie powstało w wyniku metamorfizmu regionalnego, kontaktowego oraz procesów hydrotermalnych i hipergenicznych.

 

 

ORE MINERALIZATION IN DOLOMITIC MARBLE QUARRY AT RĘDZIN (LOWER SILESIA)

 

Mineralization found in biotite-feldspar schists from northwestern part of dolomitic-marble quarry at Rędziny is described. Micro - and macroscopic studies made it possible to identify 17 ore minerals, some of which are present in a few generations. The mineralization has been found to be mainly related to regional and contact metamorphism (Fe sulfides, rutile) and hydrothermal processes (Fe sulfides, sulfur-salts and Cu sulfides, sphalerite and galenite). Secondary minerals, replacing chylcopyrite and pyrite, originated at the hypergenic stage.

Transformations in the Fe–S system (the group of minerals forming the bulk of the described

 ores) are shown to be fairly complex in character. This is expressed by transitions: pyrite ®pyrrhotite®transitional product ®marcasite®pyrite.

Electron microscope studies made it possible to reconstruct elementary composition of tenantite (Cu, As, S and admixtures of Fe, Zn, Sb and Ag) and to exclude possibility of presence of Sn in the studied material.

The above described ore mineral association does not differ in composition from those known from deposits and point mineralizations at eastern cover. The major difference in comparison with the neighbouring zones of mineralization is connected with the lack of arsenopyrite. Arsen is here present but it enters composition of tenantite.
